Trump Says Russia Must “Come to Terms” With Ukraine After G7 Meeting
After attending a "very good" G7 summit conference in France, President Donald Trump of the US said that Russia must come to terms with Ukraine and promised to do everything in his power to bring the war to an end considering the huge number of deaths among their young soldiers. Meanwhile, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy made vital pledges from the G7 nations, including additional air defense missiles, localized manufacturing rights, and winter assistance, while President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen appealed to all her allies to push ahead and increase support for Ukraine as "Russia’s fatigue" is becoming evident. In addition, the G7 leaders have concentrated on a significant US-Iran framework deal by conducting a lunch meeting aimed at reopening of the strategically important Strait of Hormuz. President Trump declared that the strait would be "completely open" on this coming Friday after signing the document in Geneva which would lead to 60 days of complex talks on Iran’s enriched uranium and sanctions relief.
